Christian A. MacLean, CFA®, CPA, is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MacLean Capital Advisors, an independent registered investment adviser based in Indian Wells, California. With nearly three decades of experience in financial services, Christian helps high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, physicians, and other medical professionals align their investment portfolios with their broader financial goals.
Christian’s Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certified Public Accountant credentials bring an informed investment and tax perspective to the firm's approach to investment management and financial planning. He leads the firm’s investment process—including portfolio construction, risk management, and ongoing oversight—and develops personalized strategies based on each client’s objectives, cash-flow needs, risk tolerance, time horizon, tax considerations, and financial plan.
Before co-founding MacLean Capital Advisors, Christian served as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and worked in public accounting at Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Outside the office, Christian values time with his family and enjoys golfing, wake surfing, downhill skiing, and cooking.
